India name probable 30 man squad for ICC Worldcup 2015

India announced its 30 man preliminary squad for the forthcoming ICC world cup. Senior players like Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Yuvraj Singh, Harbhajan Singh and Zaheer Khan were excluded from the probables squad announced today. This major exclusion of 2011 world cup winning players invited a large criticism from the fans and media.

Here is the squad:

Batsmen: Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, Ajinkya Rahane, Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina, Ambati Rayudu, Kedar Jadhav, Manoj Tiwary, Manish Pandey and Murali Vijay.

Wicket-keepers: MS Dhoni, Wriddhiman Saha, Robin Uthappa and Sanju Samson

All-rounders: Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Stuart Binny and Parvez Rasool

Spinners: R Ashwin, Karn Sharma, Amit Mishra and Kuldeep Yadav.

Pacers: Ishant Sharma, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mohammed Shami, Umesh Yadav, Varun Aaron, Dhawal Kulkarni, Mohit Sharma and Ashok Dinda.
