Murali Vijay


Murali Vijay is an Indian top order batsman. He made his Test debut in 2008 against Australia in the prestigious Border-Gavaskar trophy. Vijay as debutant could successfully tackle the Australian fast bowlers and gave India good start along with Virender Sehwag. After his first Test series against Australia he was selected for the ODI team, but could not play a single match. His ODI debut was against South Africa in 2010.

From 2009-13 M Vijay was playing for his home town Chennai Super Kings. Vijay is the only Indian cricketer to score two centuries in DLF IPL. In the year 2014 he was sold to Delhi Dare Devils.
