Chasing 363 runs on the fifth day of Test match after loosing two wickets, Indian opener Murali Vijay and Stand-in captain Virat Kohli started off the day beyond the expectations. The duo put up a 185 runs partnership in the third wicket and Indian was heading to a historic win. M Vijay (99) who was batting with awesome composure fall to Nathan Lyon’s delivery on 99 while looking to flick for a single and was trapped in front of the wicket. The second day of the first test match started ten minutes later than the scheduled time. Sky was cloudy and there were chances of a possible rain.
